Vraj Desai
Founder
Vraj Desai is an Advocate and a Chartered Accountant with a strong focus on domestic and international taxation and start-up advisory. He holds an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University and has extensive experience in tax advisory and structuring, US federal taxation, and corporate law.
Prior to Intercept Legal, Vraj was part of Ernst & Young's Tax Credit Investment Advisory Services team in New York, where he worked on tax structuring/advisory, tax modeling and Pillar 2 research and structuring.
His experience spans both law firms and chartered accountancy firms in India, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of tax and corporate regulations.

Suchita Uppal
Managing Counsel
Suchita Uppal is an Advocate qualified to practice law in India and New York, with a focus on commercial and civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and pro bono advocacy. She also has expertise in ESG and corporate human rights due diligence, advising on responsible business conduct and compliance with international standards. She holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University, where she was a Merit Scholar and graduated with Distinction Honors, and an LL.B. from Government Law College, Mumbai.
Prior to joining Intercept Legal, Suchita worked with litigation firms in New York and spent four years as an associate at Hariani & Company, Mumbai, where she also led the firm’s pro bono practice. Her cross-border practice equips her with a deep understanding of complex disputes and the strategic approaches needed to resolve them effectively.
